Social activities:  Donated 351 bighas of land for Itfagadh University worth several lakhs, started schools and libraries in Gaya, arranged for free distribution of alms to the poor at Budhouli, and maintains poor students from school to the University stage; associated with the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, I.S.C.U.S. and many other social institutions. Hobbies:  Gardening, fine arts. Favourite pastime and recreation:  Reading, Debating, Motoring and get-togethers. Special interests:  Spread of education.
